Promotions & Offers LG aims for Rs 110-cr sales Our Bureau
KOCHI: The South Korean consumer electronics major LG Electronics on Wednesday said its sales in Kerala could gross Rs 110 crore during Onam as the company has launched a new promotional offer during the festival season. "We aim to retain our leadership position by developing the market further with innovating and hi-end products. Besides, we have also launched our new promotion scheme for Onam," said Mr K. R. Kim, Managing Director of LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd. Through the promotional offer, `Chenda Kottu Sammanam Nedu' (Beat the drum, win the price), consumers would get assured gifts on every purchase during the Onam period. LG also announced the launch of a new GSM mobile handset, which incorporates a cricket game, and a three-year warranty scheme on its home PCs and colour TVs. Mr Kim said LG's turnover in Kerala would be Rs 200 crore in 2004.
