Canara Bank gesture to Shri Satya Sai Orphanage Trust

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of the social banking projects, the Kerala Circle of Canara Bank is donating an ambulance vehicle to the Shri Satya Sai Orphanage Trust at Vattiyoorkavu near here.

Uthradam Thirunal Marthanda Varma of the erstwhile Travancore royal family will hand over the vehicle to Mr Anantha Kumar, Executive Director of the Trust, at a function to be held at the Circle Office here on Tuesday.

A spokesman said the bank would also donate 20 computer tables to the Karthika Thirunal Vocational and Higher Secondary School for Girls at Manacaud here.
