Health insurance for AP journalists

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Government has issued an order for the Group Medi-Claim policy of Rs 1 lakh under the Health Insurance Scheme for the working journalists including photographers and representatives of electronic media.

United India Insurance Company Ltd offers the scheme on annual premium payment of Rs 700 by journalists and the rest of the amount by the Government, according to an official press release.
