Kisan Vani on AIR

KOCHI: The Devikulam Station of All India Radio has started broadcasting Kisan Vani programme. Devikulam is the only station in Kerala and one out of 12 stations in the country broadcasting such programmes. Kisan Vani can be heard on 101.4 Mhz on the FM band from 5 pm to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday.

Kisan Vani is expected to be the messenger of the second green revolution, which is part of the programmes envisaged to make India a developed nation by 2020. The programme, sponsored by the Union Ministry of Agriculture, has been planned with the active participation of agriculture-related departments of the State Government.
