Mumbai , Aug. 11

LIFESTYLE International, part of the Dubai-based Landmark Group, has launched its flagship store at High Street Phoenix here.

The 50,000-sq. ft. store encompasses the five concepts that are based on the needs and preferences of the Indian consumer: fashion garments for men and women (formal, casual, western and Indian); health and beauty products (perfumes, cosmetics, fashion accessories and jewellery); household and furnishings; children's concept (apparel, toys, nursery furniture); and footwear/travel accessories.

Besides well-established Indian and international brands, the store will also stock its own in-house labels in each concept; it also includes a Qwiky's Coffee Island with coffees and quick snacks.

"Our main focus is to create a complete departmental store — our ambience and display meet international standards, and we offer a complete shopping experience under one roof," said Mr Kumar Sitaraman, Managing Director, Lifestyle (P) Ltd at the launch on Sunday.

"In this showroom we have provided a large floor space for our household and furniture concept. This will be the highlight of the store."

The store has announced a series of promotions to mark the opening: these include scratch and win promos on the premises, besides promos at clubs such as Fire n' Ice, Velocity and Cirkus Cirkus.

The first Lifestyle store was opened in Chennai in 1999, followed by Hyderabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon and Mulund in Mumbai.

"We are able to leverage our experience in the retail industry and our extensive supply chain network to source exclusive merchandise and offer it to our customers at prices that are competitive," said Mr V. Muralidharan, Vice-President - Operations, Lifestyle International India.
