Mahindra Consulting plans to open centre in South

MAHINDRA Consulting, implementors of SAP suite of products and solutions for the small and mid size business (SMB) segment, is targeting the Tier I and II auto component segments of the country.

Mr Prashant Karkhanis, Global Head, Business Consulting, told presspersons that the company was ready with a pre-configured system to address the requirements of the auto industry.

He said Mahindra was targeting revenues to the tune of Rs 20 crore from this particular segment by April 2005. The company's total business target would be over Rs 100 crore. Mr Karkhanis said the company, which has presence in Mumbai and Pune (which also hosts its development centre), was looking at opening offices in Delhi and in the South.

It would also be setting up a development centre in the South. It has offices in the UK, the US, and Singapore, and is expected to open offices in Germany and Dubai.
