Animation courses from Keltron

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, June 15

THE Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (Keltron) has invited applications from students who have cleared Plus Two for its six-month professional diploma course in multimedia.

The course, available in two streams, offer specialisation in animation, visual effects, Web engineering and game development. Keltron has set up a modern laboratory and training facility for animation at its IT Education Centre at Spencer Junction in Thiruvananthapuram.

A spokesman said here that 40 seats are available in this career-oriented course designed to meet the demands of the animation, cartooning, film, television and gaming industry.

Applicants have to appear for a test for which applications, apart from other details, can be had from the Keltron IT Education Centres in Thiruvananthapuram (95471-2337450), Kollam (95474-2731061), Kochi (95484-2307548), Thrissur (95487-2201304) and Kozhikode (95495-2724698 or 98950/31014 and 31015). The course will commence on July 2, the spokesman added.
