Red Hat offer for Linux optees

BANGALORE: Red Hat India is offering a special price of Rs 25,000 to existing Red Hat customers choosing to migrate to Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES. This offer will be valid till June 30, 2003, according to a press release.

The company has also appointed two new technology partners under the `Red Hat Technology Partner Programme' in India to service the Rs 100 crore Linux market in India, the release stated. Hyderabad-based ObjectOne and Bangalore-based Vitage join the family of technology partners that Red Hat-Certified Engineers (RHCE) and will be able to draw upon other internal resources to provide a wide spectrum of technical skills to deliver the required solution to Red Hat customers.

Under the terms of the alliance, these companies will focus on delivering the professional services comprising of systems consulting, systems design and implementation services through a highly skilled team of systems engineers and consultants to Red Hat India's customers spread over India, the release stated.
