Qualcomm inks pact with Mack Telecom

NEW DELHI, June 11

QUALCOMM Inc has signed an agreement with Mack Telecom Services Pvt Ltd, a telecom engineering services company to provide CDMA training.

Under the terms of the agreement, Qualcomm's CDMA University will provide the curriculum, training material and `Train-the-trainer' programmes to help Mack Telecom start operations at its training centre in Bangalore.

"We chose Mack Telecom after evaluating several potential partners in India. We were looking for a company with significant experience in deploying CDMA technology and with a commitment to training and education," Mr John Scott, Senior Director of Program Management, Global Business Development, said.
