TCS to resell Informatica products

Our Bureau

MUMBAI, June 11

INFORMATICA Corporation on Wednesday announced that Tata Consultancy Services would now be a global reseller of its products and that TCS planned to double the number of consultants trained on Informatica's family of analytics software to 600 next year.

TCS has also licensed Informatica software to drive business performance within its organisation.

Mr Gaurav Dhillon, President and CEO, Informatica Corporation, said: "Early on, TCS identified data warehousing as an emerging market.

"With its wealth of experience and capabilities in this area, TCS has been a critical partner for Informatica in making implementations successful at significant customers such as GE."

Previously only in effect for North America, the expanded partnership will allow TCS to resell Informatica software throughout Europe and India.
