ISO certificate for silk testing lab

BANGALORE: The Central Silk Technological Research Institute of the Central Silk Board has obtained ISO certification for textile testing laboratory facilities in Bangalore for mechanical and chemical researching of textiles.

The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories has given the accreditation, according to sources. The lab has acquired equipment for testing ecological parameters for textiles and caters to traders, garments exporters, merchandisers, and so on.
