Open source software seminar

HYDERABAD: The Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) is organising a one-day seminar on `Open Source Software (OSS): The New Paradigm for the digital society' on April 25.

The seminar would cover various topics on the impact of OSS on Indian software, e-governance, prospects and strategies for India and career opportunities.

Speakers at the seminar would include, Mr Jay Pullur, Managing Director of Pramati Technologies, Maj. Gen. R.K. Bagga of the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Dr C.S.R. Prabu of the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Col. M. Vijay Kumar, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), and Dr Atul Negi of the University of Hyderabad.
