Our Bureau

HYDERABAD, April 17

DR Reddy's Laboratories Ltd, the Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical major, has decided to depart from its normal practice and announce its audited annual financial results for the fiscal ended March 31, 2003 instead of the unaudited results.

However, the company is yet to finalise the date for its board of directors meeting that would consider and take on record the audited financial results. It has informed the stock exchanges that the date of board meeting would be communicated later.

As per Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement, all the listed companies were required to take on record and furnish to stock exchanges their unaudited financial results within one month from the end of quarter. In respect of results for the last quarter of financial year, the company can announce audited results within three months from the end of last quarter of the financial year.
