Stamp duty payment in banks

BANGALORE: With the sale of non-judicial stamp paper being discontinued, stamp duty for registration of documents can now be paid at over 200 bank branches of the State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of India and State bank of Hyderabad.

According to sources, the amount can be paid by cash, cheque or demand draft, while the bank will collect service charges.
