CII Karnataka training course on ISO standards

BANGALORE, April 16

THE Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Karnataka will be conducting a training course based on ISO 9000:2000 standards from April 28 to May 2 here.

The course is part of compliance to ISO 9000 Quality Management System which has become necessary for organisations to conduct regular quality system audits carried out by trained auditors.

In order to meet these requirements, CII has upgraded its auditor/lead auditor training course as per ISO 9000:2000 revision. The auditor/lead auditor training course, based on ISO 9000:2000 standards will be held at the CII Institute of Quality, Bangalore.

The course fulfils the requirements for qualifying as auditors/lead auditors to the IRCA / IATCA scheme (IRCA 602). By the end of this course, delegates will be able to satisfy the training requirements for IRCA certification to all grades of Quality Management System (QMS) auditors; plan and conduct audits against ISO 9001:2000 standards; understand and apply the eight principles of quality management to design an effective and efficient system for own organisation and understand and apply the process management approach.
