Seminar on small industries

Our Bureau

KOCHI: The Institute of Small Enterprises and Development is organising a one-day seminar on globalisation and challenges of small industry on April 30.

The seminar will deliberate on the key areas of concern such as patents, trademarks, copyright, industrial designs, geographical indications, etc. It will also focus extensively on problems faced by Kerala entrepreneurs, according to a release.

The objective of the seminar is to enhance the understanding on intellectual property rights in the context of small enterprises. It also seeks to situate IPR in the context of the experience of industrial development in the country and the State.
