Mahindra Defence signs pact with Lockheed

MUMBAI, Feb. 18

MAHINDRA Defence Systems (MDS), a division of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M), has signed an agreement with Lockheed Martin Information Systems of UK (LMUKIS), to jointly develop simulators for the Indian defence sector, an official statement said on Tuesday.

MDS focuses on military vehicles and IT-based solutions, the latter with emphasis on simulation and VR-based training systems as well as sensor integration on mobile platforms for effective border surveillance.
