Fashion Material treat Parth Sanyal
Visitors taking a look at dresses on display at the `Fifty Years of Italian Fashion' exhibition in Kolkata. The big guns from the fashion industry — Giorgio Armani, Versace, Valentino, Roberta di Camerino, Gucci, Trussadi — are among the participants in the show, which has been travelling the world since 1998. The exhibition tells the story of the protagonists of the `Made in Italy' label since the birth of haute couture in 1950, through graphics, film projections and period costumes.
