New Products & Services Amanraj Garments introduces AdamParker brand Our Bureau
HYDERABAD, Feb. 17 AMANRAJ Garments Manufacturers Pvt Ltd (AGMPL), part of the Nagpur-based Hemani group, is planning to set up a garment manufacturing plant in Bangalore in the next six months at a cost of about Rs 30 crore. The company has launched AdamParker range of clothing here on Monday. According to the group Managing Director, Mr Aman Hemani, the AdamParker brand, belonging to Wishtree Fashions of Florida, is a licensed product of AGMPL. The company will be making AdamParker branded products and market them in India and abroad, particularly in Europe. It will shortly open offices in France and Italy. In India, Mr Hemani said, the company would be targeting the southern region initially and subsequently expand to the northern region. The company, at present, has a manufacturing unit at Nagpur that has an installed capacity to produce 40,000 shirts and 25,000 trousers per month. The proposed unit at Bangalore would also have the same capacity. AGMPL Chairperson, Ms Rajashree Hemani, said that the company would be opening exclusive AdamParker showrooms in all the metros in the country apart from the one coming up in Nagpur. In the next three months, the garments would be launched in eight more cities including Kolkata and Pune. Besides garments, the Hemani group was planning to launch its paints and beverages in Hyderabad this year. The group produces Lemon Colourscapes brand of paints and Daddycool brand of beverages, fruit beer and soda.
