Sharekhan begins Vizag operations

HYDERABAD: Sharekhan, one of the leading retail brokerage firms in the country and the retail broking arm of the Mumbai-based SSKI group, has announced the commencement of its operations at Vijayawada on Monday.

In a press release here, the company said the services being offered from its Vijayawada unit includes execution on Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange terminals for cash market and derivatives, depository services, personalised investment advice and Internet trading.

According to the company, its broking house that currently doing daily volumes of over Rs 200 crore has a branch at Hyderabad, which acts as a focal point to service the franchisees and clients for the Andhra region. Sharekhan currently has franchisees at Visakhaptanam, Vijayawada, Kakinada, Rajahmundry and Hyderabad. The company proposes to shortly open two more franchisees at Guntur and Kurnool, the release said.
