Web-based innovative photo service

Our Bureau

BANGALORE, Jan. 9

AN instant solution for those who are curious to see the picture immediately after shooting it with the camera is what a local photo lab has come out with.

`Click picture now and let your friends sitting thousands of miles away view them on-line in the next few hours' is the catch line to the customers walking in with their film rolls into this photo lab.

The photo studio, Anurag Photo Lab, has launched the innovative Web-based on-line photo service, which holds promise for people who would like to shoot pictures and share them immediately with family and friends worldwide.

A customer entering the lab for processing the film roll is enrolled as a member of anuragphoto.com.

A password-protected account is created for each member at no extra cost, says a press release from the lab. After the formalities, the film roll of the customer is processed, digitised and the images are uploaded to the respective member's account. The member can log on to this account and view the pictures using the password anytime anywhere.

The member can also download it to their personal computers or invite friends to view them on-line and the digital images can also be converted into hard prints.
