TNT India's gesture

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: After having provided the initial cheers at the dawn of the New Year, greeting cards don't cease to lose their value!

They have a role to play in spreading joy to the needy and the underprivileged children living stoically by the year and hope for better days. As in every year, TNT India, the express courier company, has decided to collect used cards and send it to welfare institutions who will reuse the cards as educational material or décor or even recycle them into paper and new cards and other novel craft items.

This exercise will help the donors spread joy to more people through the cards, which might be posing problem in storing them. This effort of TNT has been on for the last four years. To donate the cards, donors should call TNT at 080-2292231/6. TNT has also set up collection boxes at some departmental stores, educational institutions and offices where people could drop the used cards.
