NEW DELHI, Dec.19 THE President, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, administered the oath of office of the Chief Justice of India to Mr Justice Visheshwar Nath Khare, the seniormost judge of the Supreme Court of India, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan here on Thursday. Mr Justice Khare, the 33rd Chief Justice of India, succeeds Mr Justice G.B. Pattanaik following his retirement.
