Two new products from Cormic

HYDERABAD: Cormic Health Care (P) Ltd, a Hyderabad-based company, has launched sugar-free instant coffee `Diacafe' and tea `Diachai' in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Orissa targeting diabetics and calorie-conscious people.

The two products contain the low calorie sweetener, Aspertame, a non-toxic substance approved by the WHO, American Diabetic Association and the Food and Drug Administration as sugar substitute.

Diacafe constitutes 70 per cent coffee, 30 per cent chicory and Aspertame. Diachai is a mixture of fine tea leaves and Aspertame. According to Mr M. Anil Kumar, MD of Cormic Health Care, the new concept of sugarless sweet coffee and tea was introduced for the first time in the Indian market. The company would introduce its products in other States soon.
