THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, Aug 15 TOONZ Comix is bringing out a fun-filled comic called Adventures of Tenali Raman in the Classic Toonz series as part of its continuing programme aimed at reaching the much-valued Indian mythology and content-rich folktales to a wider global audience. Published by Toonz Animation India based in Technopark, the Tenali Raman story has also entered the production stream at the Toonz Studios, the first in-house television series being created by the animation company, according to a company spokesman. The series is set in 16th century in the Vijayanagara empire, one of the powerful and famous kingdoms of the then South India. Krishnadevaraya, the unrivalled King of Vijayanagara, is a great patron of art and literature. Tenali Raman, the brilliant jester, is the King's favourite courtier.
