Medical institute plans tie-up

BANGALORE: The PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PESIMSR), coming up in Kuppam near Bangalore, would enter into tie-ups with hospitals for internship of students.

The institute would be benchmarked against medical schools in India and abroad. "Our objective is to make PESIMSR a telemedicine hub," according to its Director, Mr D. Jawahar. The hospital has started functioning and medical institute will begin its operations soon, he said.
