NetXcell joins hands with Mobilent

HYDERABAD: NetXcell, a Hyderabad-based wireless application service provider, has announced its strategic tie-up with Mobilent, a Malaysian firm engaged in location-based services in the mobile GPS arena, to provide technology and applications based services.

The Chief Executive Officer, NetXcell, Mr Ramakrishna Kolipaka, said the tie-up with Mobilent was a marriage of technology and reach to offer customers in the Asia-Pacific region with innovative products and solutions.

This tie-up is expected to enable NetXcell to integrate its technology-in mobile applications, solutions and interfacing with Mobilent's products and provide the Asia-Pacific markets with customised products. As a part of this tie up, NetXcell will also extend its products in the mobile arena including the mobile servers, interactive voice response products, WAP-based and SMS-based products and services to customers through Mobilent.
