Tech workshop from Feb 14

MANGALORE: The nodal centre for the National Technical Manpower Information Systems (NTMIS) at the Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal, in association with the Delhi-based Institute of Applied Manpower

Research will be conducting a two-day southern region workshop on February 14 and 15.

The main objectives of the workshop sponsored by the All-India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, are to examine the relevance of national technical manpower information systems in the present context, to suggest improvements for higher efficiency, to create awareness and enhance interaction among educational and industrial establishments and participation of industry in curriculum development and placement activities.

About 100 delegates drawn from educational institutions and industry belonging to the four southern States are expected to attend the workshop.
