Steel Maharashtra Seamless net up Our Bureau
NEW DELHI: Maharashtra Seamless Ltd has posted a 116 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 11.9 crore for the quarter ended December 2001 as against Rs 5.52 crore in the corresponding period last year. Total income for the period registered a growth of 22 per cent at Rs 89.4 crore compared to Rs 73.06 crore during the corresponding period last year. For the nine-month period ended December, the company achieved a total income of Rs 274 crore and a net profit of Rs 31 crore. Turnover and net profit for the year ended March 2001 were Rs 269 crore and Rs 31 crore respectively. The company continues to be a zero debt company.
