KOTTAYAM: The uptrend in the rubber prices continued on low arrivals and effective demand. Price rose for all the grades excepting for latex concentrate. Traders were seen offering better rates for attracting supplies in order to fulfil commitments already entered into.

Sheet rubber RSS-4 firmed up to Rs 30 per kg from Rs 29.50 on Wednesday and RSS-5 ascended to Rs 28 from Rs 27.50. Block rubber ISNR-20 edged up to Rs 27.50 from Rs 27.25. Price of ungraded rubber rose to Rs 27 from Rs 26.50 per kg while latex 60 per cent remained steady at Rs 28 per kg.
