Sheet rubber firms up

KOTTAYAM: Sheet rubber RSS-4 firmed up marginally, following reports in the media that the centre has cleared proposal to usher in the State Trading Corporation to re commence procurement of rubber at the notified price for supply to the rubber goods exporters in lieu of the advance licence facilities.

While RSS-4 improved by 25 paise to Rs 25.50 per kg as compared to Rs 25.25 on Wednesday. RSS-5 and Block rubber ISNR-20 remained flat at Rs 24 per kg Ungraded rubber remained unchanged at Rs 23.50 and latex 60 per cent at Rs 26.50 per kg.
