Indian yarn to figure in global index
THE International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF), which has attempted indexing yarn and fabric production status from this year, has included the Indian yarn data/inventory so as to perfect its world index.

3 NTC units in TN suspend operation
TEXTILE units owned by the National Textile Corporation's Tamil Nadu/Pondicherry subsidiary have suspended operations following NTC's recent move effecting voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) for workers in these units.
