Knit fair to start on Oct 10
COIMBATORE: India Knit Fair Association (IKFA), which organises the annual knitwear exhibitions in Tirupur, is holding the 12th edition of the knit fair for autumn/winter collection between October 10 and 12 in Tirupur.
The fair will showcase wide range of cotton and blended heavier knitted garments under the men's/women's/kids' section.
The fair organisers are bringing out a catalogue on a `business card-sized' CD-ROM to be distributed to the visiting overseas buyers/buying agents.
The fair is to be inaugurated by the Union Textiles Minister, Mr Kashiram Rana. As an adjunct to the Tirupur fair, the Apparel Export Promotion Council has also planned to hold a seminar on fashion forecast in Tirupur on November 8 in which members of a
leading fashion trend bureau from Paris will participate. -- Our Bureau
