UTI ED to take voluntary retirement

MUMBAI: Mr Brij Gopal Daga, Executive Director, Unit Trust of India (UTI), has decided to take voluntary retirement from UTI. Reliable sources said that Mr Daga will retire effective December 31, 2001, one year ahead of his scheduled retirement.

Mr Daga, a key UTI official who has worked in various departments such as market operations and business development, will join as Managing Director, Central Depository Services (India) Ltd (CDSL). He will join CDSL for a period of five years effective J anuary 1, 2002. -- Our Bureau
