GM `OK 5 Star' in more cities likely
NEW DELHI: General Motors India Ltd (GM), the fully-owned subsidiary of US General Motors Corp, is planning to extend its `OK 5 Star' branded outlets to buy and sell used car programme to more cities, a top company official has said.
GM has been running a pilot project on the used-car business under this brand name in Indore and Hyderabad, according to Mr Aditya Vij, GM's President and Managing Director.
``It is a market that are studying. More locations are being identified,'' he said.
GM dealers will be in charge of the programme. GM's rival, Ford runs a similar programme called the Ford Assured.
Maruti Udyog Ltd is also planning a foray into this business. _ Our Bureau
