NTPC to supply additional 10 MW to Pondy

HYDERABAD: The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) will be supplying an additional 10 MW power to Pondicherry from its eastern region power stations.

A power purchase agreement to this effect has been signed by the NTPC Director (Commercial), Mr H. L. Bajaj, and Power & Ports Secretary of Pondicherry, Mr Navin Chawla.

The NTPC is currently supplying 50 MW and 12.57 MW of power to Pondicherry from its Talcher and Ramagundam power stations respectively, according to a NTPC press release here on Tuesday. -- Our Bureau
