12 Bills passed in Budget session

NEW DELHI, May 1
OUT of the 20 Bills introduced during the Budget Session of Parliament, 12 were passed. Besides, four Bills that were sent to Parliament could not be introduced following consecutive disruption of the proceedings of the Houses.

Removal (Repeal) Bill, 2001; Finance Bill, 2001; the Appropriation (Railways) No.2 Bill, 2001; and the Appropriation (No.2) Bill, 2001.
