Centre to move 3 lakh t AP rice
HYDERABAD: The Centre has instructed the departments concerned to move three lakh tonnes of boiled rice from Andhra Pradesh to West Bengal, Orissa and other States.
The move was initiated after the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, requested the Union Government to move the rice to these States, an official release said here. - Our Bureau
