Manugraph Industries turnover declines

MUMBAI: Manugraph Industries Ltd has reported a decline in net sales and income from operations at Rs 8.08 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2001 as compared to Rs 34.88 crore in the year-ago period.

The company has attributed the decline to the 90-day strike at its factory. The labour unrest is on account of the wage agreement.

For the full year, the company recorded profit-before-tax of Rs 4.10 crore (Rs 2.57 crore).

Net sales stood at Rs 99.01 crore (Rs 109.66 crore).

Domestic sales increased from Rs 68.25 crore to Rs 70.74 crore. -- Our Bureau
