IPSR to hold debugging competition

KOTTAYAM, Oct. 29

THE Institute of Professional Studies and Research (IPSR), Kerala, promoted by the Kerala Vyapari Vyavasai Ekopana Samithi (KVVES) is hosting a program-error debugging competition for cybernauts named Debuggo2000@ipsr. This competition conducted on a Sou th India level is open to those who are 24 years old or less, and familiar with programming in C.

The first leg of the competition will be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Kottayam and Kozhikode. The final competition will be at the IPSR Headquarters, Kottayam. Winners will get prizes worth Rs 1 lakh and a trophy, during the IPSR Foundation Day celebrations at Kottayam on November 22. The IPSR will also organise a seminar on m-commerce on November 22, which will cover the technical and commercial aspects of m-commerce.

IPSR has launched a computer education program called the e-literacy mission. This aims to impart functional computer literacy to members of the business community.
