India Nippon H1 net at Rs 8.36 cr

CHENNAI: India Nippon Electricals Ltd has reported a turnover of Rs 53.56 crore for the first-half of the current year as against Rs 47.15 crore in the same period the previous year.

According to a press release, the company made a net profit of Rs 8.36 crore against Rs 6.11 crore in the same period last year, an increase of 36.8 per cent.

India Nippon is a joint venture of Lucas Indian Service and Kokusan Denki Co Ltd, part of the Hitachi group of Japan. According to the release, the company is setting up new facilities for the manufacture of flywheel magnetos to serve customers in North India. -- Our Bureau
