Bajaj Auto: Eyeing stake in MUL?
Mr. Rahul Bajaj might be under pressure with declining sales and a stiff competition from any number of new wannabes, but corporate India's Big B is definitely game for some savvy business deals, if they come his way.
Asked if Bajaj Auto Ltd is interested in and has made a bid to pick up stake in car manufacturer Maruti Udyog Ltd, Mr. Bajaj said `` Ask Manohar Joshi when he is planning to offer us the stake, then I will consider the proposition. Rumours of my interest
in MUL have appeared in the media and I have not denied those reports'', he said, declining, however, to answer any more queries on the issue. -- Our Bureau
