Datanet Systems plans to go public

BANGALORE: Datanet Systems Ltd, a Bangalore-based solutions provider for the banking sector, has announced its plans to go public.

The company is planning to come out with a public issue of 31,50,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each at par aggregating Rs. 3.15 crores, to expand its existing facilities in the areas of business process automation and computer telephony integration.

The company currently focuses on workflow automation and banking solutions and has products such as BPRO, Teleserver, Bankflow, ABB, SmartABB, Telebanker, webbanker and telewebbanker.

For the year ended March 31, 2000, the company posted a net profit of Rs. 6.23 lakhs on a turnover of Rs. 4.93 crores. Datanet has projected a turnover of Rs. 15.55 crores for the current financial year. -- Our Bureau
