Reliance revises product prices

MUMBAI, Aug. 2
RELIANCE Industries Ltd has announced the revised prices for its petrochemical products effective August 1.
The price of the polymers such as polyethylene has been increased to Rs. 47.50 per kg (Rs. 47). Polypropylene will cost Rs. 41.15 per kg (Rs. 38.9). Prices of polyvinyl chloride have been increased by Rs. 1 to Rs. 42 per kg. Polyethylene terephthalate
prices remain unchanged at Rs. 56 per kg, a release said.
Prices of polyesters like partially-oriented yarn and polyester staple fibre remain stable at Rs. 57.75 per kg and Rs. 53.5 per kg respectively.
The prices of the fibre intermediates purified terephthalic acid stand at Rs. 33.1 per kg (Rs. 32.7) and mono ethylene glycol at Rs. 33.3 per kg (Rs. 35.4).
The price of linear alkyl benzene fell by Rs. 2.2 per kg to Rs. 51.9 per kg (Rs. 54.1).
