Black tiger shrimp up
BLACK tiger shrimp prices have shot up to Rs. 500 per kg for 30 counts grade on head-on basis. Arrivals have been lower than expected, and heavy demand has helped to prop up prices, said buyers.

Global pepper exports up in H1
EXPORTS of pepper from major producing countries witnessed a three per cent rise during the first half (January-June) of this year but shipments from India declined sharply by 45 per cent compared to the corresponding period last year, an International P epper Community (IPC) report said.

Domestic dry cocoa quotes higher
The prices of dry cocoa bean price is being quoted higher in the domestic market as compared to the price in the international market. While the cocoa bean is quoted at Rs.67/kg in the domestic market, its international price is rulign lower by Rs.6 per kg.

Plantations
World coffee exports down in June
GLOBAL coffee exports have declined for the third straight month. June 2000 shipment is provisionally estimated by the International Coffee Organisation (ICO) at 7.536 million bags (60 kg, down from 7.716 million bags in May.
