Godrej to float infotech unit
THE Godrej group is taking its software company, Geometric Software Solutions Co Ltd, public with an initial public offer of 3.10 lakh shares at a premium of Rs. 290 per share aggregating Rs. 9.30 crores.

Ishoni secures $8.5-m funding
ISHONI Networks, a developer of broadband communication gateway technology, said it had secured a $8.5-million venture funding to build a next generation broadband gateway platform with integrated voice features. The funding would be used to complete the initial product development both in the US as well as in Bangalore, and to expand related marketing and support functions, said a company release here.

Zylog to go for pvt placement
THE Chennai-based Zylog Systems (Pvt) Ltd will privately place 10 per cent of the company's shares for a consideration of at least Rs. 3 crores in the next couple of months.
